In 2004,
after graduating from culinary school, Mariela opened a restaurant with the idea of serving customers who wanted a healthy lifestyle. She wanted to add to her main dishes something that was natural, healthy and delicious. Conscious about the amazing variety of fresh produce that the fertile Guatemalan land offers, she figured that Lúa chips were the ideal solution!
